Whitfield Regional Hospital has a state-of-the-art laboratory that is equipped with the very latest in high-tech laboratory instrumentation. Using advanced laboratory technology, our highly skilled, experienced and dedicated staff strives to ensure that physicians are provided with accurate, reliable data that is necessary to diagnose, evaluate or monitor health and/or disease states in patients of all ages. The laboratory performs a variety of routine and critical laboratory procedures. Specimen analysis includes performing a broad spectrum of laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology and immunohematology. DOT screenings, drug tests and outpatient lab services are also available.
